Admission Requirements
Abilene Christian University offers admission to applicants who appear to have the highest potential for graduate study. Admission decisions are based on a combination of factors, including the statement of purpose and letters of recommendation. ACU also considers the appropriateness of your goals to the degree program in which you are interested.
To be admitted unconditionally to the Master of Education, you must:
- Complete an online application
- Pay an application fee of $100
- Submit official transcripts showing all previous college work
- Complete a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university with a 3.0 GPA
- Complete a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and/or teacher certification
- Submit two recommendation forms that indicate support of readiness for graduate study
- Submit a typed two-page statement of purpose
- Submit a current resume
*Leadership of Learning degree: Must complete two years of classroom teaching experience.
