Testimonials
"I am taking classes online at ACU to earn my Master of Education in Leadership of Learning. I had considered taking Master's classes before, but was perplexed with how to fit it in with my busy work and family life. When this program was offered, it was an answer to a prayer. However, it was not until later that I realized how much I would value the flexibility of online classes. The first fall semester in September 2006, my mom had to have surgery in Louisiana and I had to go take care of her for a week. I packed up my books and laptop and was able to do class work in her hospital room. This past year, though has been the clincher for me. For the past three classes, I have been somewhere else other than Abilene for the first week of class. Despite being in different parts of the country, I was able to manage because of the flexibility of online education. If I were taking traditional classes, these trips would have been almost impossible for me.
Besides the flexibility, I feel that I am getting an incredible education and excellent preparation for being a school administrator. I do not miss having a traditional classroom setting. We have class interaction through the discussion boards which can be very interesting at times - similar to a regular classroom! I am extremely happy with the program at ACU and grateful that I have the opportunity to be a part of this experience."

The Leadership of Learning program has provided me the opportunity to further my career, while still being a good wife and mother. The online learning environment is very conducive to my hectic schedule and the courses have offered me valuable information I use every day. I want to serve students in a deeper, more meaningful way. Because of ACU I have begun to see the classroom in a whole new way and I now aspire to model life-long learning for others. One day soon I strive to be a steward who serves my Lord, my church and my community as a productive educational leader."

"I am working on my master's degree so that I can continue to learn and help children in different ways in the school system. My graduate classes have been very interesting. They have renewed my interest in teaching and my desire to help students be successful. I love hearing life experiences from Dr. Goldsmith and the other professors. Hearing how they solve different situations helps me to know the thought processes I will have to go through someday. I also enjoy the Christian community at ACU. It is a comforting place to be."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Education department at ACU because both the faculty and staff are wonderful and very caring. They constantly portray their Christian love through their actions and words and I know that I can always count on them to help me if I am ever in need."
